scroll through the threads , someone was offering one for sale about two months back, on the general MK1 thread site, not on the for sale pages. they are mega expensive but amazing. someone was def offering one for sale. do they fit all MK1 convertibles. check if they all have fittings to mount one but they look amazing- just like the concept car.

 

if you find one obviously you would be re spraying to match your paint I guess. Ive seen one up close fully painted to match the car, at a well known TT specialist. very nice,

 

 

Have a look on eBay sometime get them on there make sure it comes with the rear fittings that fit to the car as only roadsters supplied with the hardtop had them fitted

 

I believe there is a blue one for sale on Ebay right now for 1500 pounds. Seems like a steal to me considering I've seen them listed for double that. However it does not come with the mounting gear. I was lucky enough to buy my tt off of marketplace with the hardtop already fitted so I don't know much about the fitting process. Unfortunately to my surprise the soft top underneath has some massive holes after we removed the top for the first time. .

 

Defo need the rear mountings to attach the hardtop

 

I saw the ebay one. They do go for a lot of cash.. best ever looking hard tops must be the Mercedes R129 SL and the TTMK1 hard top- the TT Top is stunning. £1500 though.. oh my days ..my 225 was £1900.

 

IMOP the roadster with the hardtop fitted looks more like the concept coupe than the coupe Audi produced

Did you find a hardtop? I am selling mine with the fitting kit. Its silver, ok condition and I'm after £1000. Comes with the storage bag too.
