The "genuine" pic looks to be Mk2 TT lettering/font, not Mk3. I think you need a different badge, not that one. Also that particular aftermarket one is completely off base, yeah 😂 I've seen much better ones on AliExpress, might be worth looking at different listings to get a "correct looking" one. Of course if want genuine, get genuine but note the part number will have to start with 8S not 8J.

The one in the above photo is correct--can't be 100% sure if genuine, but that's the Mk3 TT font/lettering. The second picture in the first post is completely different.

Basically the Mk2 badging and fonts are rounded...like the car. The Mk3 ones are sharp edged...again like the car.

 

So essentially I need to get one from Audi for like £42 then to make sure it looks right 😭

 

Correct but that looks like an aftermarket grill. If it is may need some work to make it fit correctly.

Whereabouts in the UK are you? I’ve a TTS badge off a pre facelift grille lying about in the garage somewhere. But these were silver (aluminium) grilles I seem to remember.
