I just wanted a little place to document what I've done to my TT and share with you Guys/Gals.

I live in Calgary Alberta Canada! I dont think theres too many Canadian members on this forum.

2 years ago i sold a mk5 R32 because it was automatic and i wanted back in a manual. I sold it for a 2008 b7 audi a4, but quickly released that i needed a special little vr6 back in my life!

I know i wanted manual, vr6 and in white, but have considered red as well. A perfect specimen was found only 3 hours form me with 70,000kms on it.

Specs: Us imported 2009 Audi TT, 3.2 Vr6, Quattro, Manual, S-Line, Ibis White.
I always knew that manual Vr6's were rare so i contacted audi of america to find out exactly how rare this combination is.

Turns out this car is only 1 of 2 produced for the United States! its a unicorn  !

Some photos of the car when i picked it up:
Previous modifications form the previous owner are an Evom's intake and OEM b8 19x8.5 rotor wheels.

First modifications i did were a full set of LED lights from Deautokey. These lights are all plug and play and have no errors! Been in for a few months now and are still working perfectly.
Kit included:
LED Fog Lights
City/Side Lights
Reverse lights
All interior lights.

Next up i needed more volume from the exhaust so i ordered and fitted up a Cobra sport non resonated catback. I love the sound from it.

Video of some drifting

I have also installed an iPad mini into the dash. Im just waiting on my dash face to come in which should be here this week!
Image

I also have an air suspension setup that is waiting to be installed in the car. I Just finished up mounting the compressor in last night, my air lift 3p management arrives on Wednesday so this will all be installed soon! Will probably have the management wired up on the weekend, and struts/bags installed over the next few weeks.

Overall i am completely in love with this car!

Really nice looking car! Can't believe it's only 1 of 2, that'll hold its value :)

"Can't believe it's only 1 of 2, that'll hold its value" Not if it's messed about with too much. It seems a shame to heavily modify such a rare car that looks very good as it is.
I expect this car to hold a bit of value over other TT's but it will still depreciate. And all my modifications are 100% Reversible. i also wouldn't call doing exhaust and suspension "heavy modifications". I didn't buy this car to save it for the next person who will buy it from me. Im going to enjoy the hell out of this car :)

I suppose the only real downside to this particular vehicle being a V6 in manual guise is the the higher tax bracket this gets slotted in to by being a manual ..not 100% sure if this is the case over the pond where you are but would be in the UK.

Nice variant to have all the same ;-)

We dont have any of that tax stuff over in Canada so thats a non issue :) Just buy the car, get insurance/registration and you're got to go forever haha.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! My Dash Panel finally came in! Took forever to get overseas but the wait was totally worth it. The piece looks completely oem. Huge shoutout to Rta Fabrication for doing an amazing job on this custom piece.

Ordered a TT's Grille. and fitted that up the other night. Unfortunately had to pull the bumper off as i beleive the North American spec TT's have a larger crash bar that blocked the torx screws.

My roof rack finally came in. i can take the car to the ski hill now!

Small update as the roads are beginning to clear up here.

Bought some summer wheels and they arrived on monday. I am also picking up a set of TTRS front brakes on friday. so the wheels will need some spacers to clear the callipers.

Thanks!
Head to this link here: https://www.audiusa.com/help/contact-audi

They should be able to tell you the production numbers based on Model, Year, Trim, Engine and Transmission.

Welcome. I'm in Ottawa, Ontario. I currently have a 2008 6MT 3.2.

The 6MT is rare but not that hard to find. I believe the 2009 6MT 3.2 would be the rarest.

I went full performance with mine with a full 034 turbo kit and PSS10s.

I don't think they will hold their value that well personally. Rare isn't always valuable.

Like i said before i expect it to hold a little bit higher than the average TT, but nothing major. Im not all too worried about re-sale though. Let me know how that turbo kit goes, i will be going down that path some day. Most likely with HPA though.

This is the closest number I got. They do not have stats for specific options, only interior and exterior color. So of those 144, how many have navigation, magneride, manual transmission? No idea, but I'm ok with 1/144.

â–ş 688 - Model Year 2008 TT 3.2 Coupe quattro models sold in the U.S.

â–ş 234 - Model Year 2008 TT 3.2 Coupe quattro models with Brilliant Black exteriors sold in the U.S.

Weird they were able to give me numbers on transmission choice as well. But it is nice audi is able to provide these numbers!

Also have some RS brakes going on this weekend. These things are massive.

Nothing too much to update, but ill add more photos.

I added some spacers to the front and rear. Front to clear the Rs Brakes, and then the rears just to match the fitment. the brakes are amazing and bite hard. More than enough braking power ill ever need.

24Karat Gold line badges added to tie in the gold theme.

Really just been enjoying the car. Theres really nothing I'm itching to do to it. Ill think about adding bigger sway bars, a Ecu tune and probably adding some vinyl touches to the car.
