Hi,
Can anyone help I have a mk1 TT with an RS badge on the rear with alsoa RS badge on the sterring wheel does this model excist!!!
I was told when I bought the car back in 2014 that it was an TTRS which came with 18 inch wheels among other features.
Is this a fact
Thanks

No official tt rs Mk1 as other have said someone has stuck some badges on it. Technically one was made by Audi although it was an rs4 chassis and engine with a tt body on it. The UK had 2 special editions, the sline and the quattro sport. The Sline was basically a short run options pack (20mm lower sport suspension and 18inch rs tt alloys) that became the standard equipment on the the 225 as part of the facelift.

I wish I bought my neighbours mark4 tdci silver anniversary, just for the wheels... but I already had a broken s3, mazda 3, she the TT..

It had VW wheels which were very similar if not the same as QS... but I don't think they were standard on it. Maybe they were QS reps and someone just pushed a VW in the center cap...

When I bought my TT it had 4 rings on the boot, but there was only a 4 ring.. less dirty silhouette by the time I got home.. no idea why it had an s-line badge on.. I do wonder if the dealer requested it when it was made/delivered as it was just after the s-line stopped and face-lift started like Feb/March 2002... and there had been a bit of a hoo-haa over S-Line versus Face Lift...

A bit like when I was 11 I got a Super-Tuff Burner but it was on the cross-over year with the Oval Skyway Frame... :D

I did love some of the prototypes... but the bi-turbo... was the only prototypes with the TTRS wheels look...

ABT were heavily involved, in lots of the body kit variants..

Not sure in the point of the opensky version...

The best convertibles have to be 3 series bimmers, they just understand what makes a good luxury car...
