Door handle lock has come off

Only noticed when back home. Something must have happened during my time out in central london 😔

No damages to the surrounding area. Not sure how this came off. No signs of break-ins. Nothing.

I'd appreciate if someone can provide the part number.

And also the part number for the auto window roll-up motor (left hand side) as it won't go up without me holding the switch upwards.

Both left hand side door jobs. Hope my bodyshop can fix this.

Part no is 8V0837168B. It’s a generic VW part so It fits a few different models. They are around £30 brand new but come unpainted. Might be cheaper to look for a complete handle in the right colour on eBay which usually go for around £20 and use the cap off that.

Re the window have you tried resetting it? If not try winding the window all the way down holding switch for a few seconds and then winding it back all the way up again holding the switchfor a few seconds.

Is the cap the only thing thats missing? This is the passenger side. How could this have come off? I'm still pretty baffled
