When did you receive it please, and from which dealership? I've just contacted Audi again and they're telling me 10 July is now the ETA....

 

just put them on and superglue on top of them with something.

 

Did they brake or just seperate form door card?

 

1 broke and 1 came away from the card, and was thinking of super glueing them ive ordered 10 new clips so will do it in the house and take my time cheers all...and mark i contacted germany and complained they said i was looking at 22nd of july from them and another week or so to arrive at uk audi...i bought 2nd hand (lucky to find it)

 

Don't forget that the clips have two positions- open (extended) and closed (compressed)

Fit them in the extended position, it's easier to do this way as you can feel the hole where the clip should go.

To extend use the appropriate tools or two pairs of pliers.

To mend any broken door clip holders on the door panel use hot glue NOT super glue as this is too brittle!

 

Cheers..their all extended i bought new 1s only broke 1 clip so it glued back ok then wedged the other seems to be holding fine

Yes that's how they come once used they will be in closed position

 

Did you get the door card to fit snug to the door?
Both mine have a slight gap around the edge, Just wondered if this is normal ?.

 

Ye mine has a small gap too, that is normal

 

After changing the clips noticed there were 2 white clips missing so its been off before that is 4 broken so just ordered 10 white clip holders and they come with the clips (so plenty spare now) and as happychappy said i will hot glue them all in place hope this works

Ah, Yes they are situated in the door card itself.

 

Lots and lots and lots and lots and....Phew....lots of hot glue!

 

Will do..be doing it sat when the clips and retainers arrive..

 

All arrived today and all sorted now...big shout to happychappy telling me to use a hot glue gun ..worked a treat on to the next now

 

So did you glue the retainers to the door cards ?

 

Ye 4 were broke so glued them on to the pins and a bit more glue for good luck..and got plenty of retainers and clips left for spares now

I cant get the door panel back on properly. Is there another way of getting these clips in without just trying to push them in? I cant get them to click into place. Thx
