Locating and Removing the Bose Amp -
The Bose Amp is located in the trunk, behind the left side panel and mounted to the back side of the wheel well. In order to remove it, the trunk floor deck, rear plastic panel, left side trunk panel and left styrofoam tool bin need to be removed first. Once accessible, remove the bracket nuts and release all of the electrical connectors.
Tools required - T30 Torx and 10mm wrench
When re-installing, check that the clips are still in the panels and not in the metal work of the chassis. Also check that the rubber seal is not pinched along the edge of the rear plastic panel. Instructions are applicable to both Coupes and Roadsters.
