Hello, I am just wondering what other Audi models e.g. A3/S3 have a flat bottomed steering wheel that will fit nicely into the mk1 TT 225?
Thanks

Any flat bottom wheel from any audi will fit
It's the correct stage airbag that you need
Most of the later styles are single stage

You can duy modified mk1 flat bottomed wheels to fit your TT look more in keeping with the mk1 style IMOP

What do you mean?
It's a mk1 steering wheel but modified with a flat bottom and a choice of leather or Alcantara. Looks very smart if you're wanting to keep the car close to original.

Not sure if you'll be able to see yellows steering wheels because of photobucket.

No cant see it. Anyone got any photos?
How much does it cost and how long does it take as clearly car would be unusable without steering wheel!!
Here ya go. Same guy as Yellow
Got it during a FB group buy. If you are seriously interested I'll fish out his details

Mine was ÂŁ160 if I remember right and that included ÂŁ30 for an exchange wheel
They are also slightly thicker so much nicer to use I have a genuine VW flat bottomed wheel in my Golf R it's the same one that Audi use and the ones I've fitted to the TTs are much nicer to use

I do like that one with the red trim, has a much flatter bottom than the example with the yellow trim. I guess with my car being blue, I would want blue trim. So how much would one set me back? Always thought it would be a shame to lose the dimpled ring by having a mk 2 or 3 wheel.

Mines the same colour as yours.

Red stitching compliments the oe of the dashpod radio etc (imho) Have it on the gear gator and handbrake cover, as well as yet to be fitted door pulls

Sorry Yellow, but they do, as they did mine!

It's got tapered sides, re-profiled and the flat bottom...plus it's 2mm thicker to make it chunkier than the OE... [smiley=book2.gif]
Didn't know that every days a school day [smiley=book2.gif] :)
