Great vid Chris and resolution. Some may use dry lube as an alternate. My glovebox suffers the same issue but yet to break and Its like the bonnet release, doors and rear hatch closing - softly, softly. TBH there is bugger all room in the glovebox so not a lot of reason to use on a regular basis. If I had the ipod connectivity located in the glovebox it would probably have broken by now.
