I'm considering swapping the Grille on my pre-facelift TTS out for a black one as the grey doesn't really do it for me. I'm a bit confused about fitment as there are lots of listings like this, which state they are selling a Grille that fits standard TTs but not the TTS/S-Line/TTRS: Glossy Black TTRS Style For Audi TT TTS 8J 2006-2014 Grille Honeycomb Grill | eBay
I've also read some listings like this that suggest that the S Line/TTS grilles protrude lower lower than the standard TT (4th pic along here): TTRS style conversion front grille for Audi TT - Black
I know that fitting an RS grille to a standard model requires some cutting of the bumper to make it fit, but haven't read anything on the forum suggesting that the TTS fitment is different to standard, however I also don't want to order something and find it leaves a gap in the bumper. If anyone can clear this up for me I'd really appreciate it! For reference my current grille looks like this:
Alternatively, I'm not desperate for the honeycomb look, more the colour change, so if anyone happens to have a TTS Black Edition grille gathering dust somewhere I'd be happy to take that off your hands too...
