This is useful for anyone who needs to access the spoiler unit, the emergency trunk release cable or is planning a reverse camera install.
First remove the two screws in the grab handle, then remove the latch cover and then disengage all 8-clips.
Start at the left lower corner and use the pry-bar to gain access to the first clip. Reach up, inside the panel and pull forward. Continue working left to right, to disengage the remaining three lower clips. Then repeat the process by starting at the top left corner, working left to right, to disengage the four upper clips, until all 8-clips have been disengaged.
The pry-bar is only needed to gain access to the first clip. After that, just get your hand up inside, between the panel and the metalwork, and pull at each clip location. Once the panel has been removed, check for missing clips that may have fallen off or are still in the metalwork and replace them back into the panel.
Good luck!
