Hi everyone, thsnks for having me. I wanted to ask if anyone has updated their virtual cockpit to get CarPlay. I have been looking online and found this.. advice and anyone else used these guys

looks like they got good reviews but wanted to ask here first!

Edit Update 25/02/23:

As I have been asked a few times those that are interested the product I purchased was on the link below:

Worked flawless for me and was easy to do. Please don’t message me asking if it will work for you as I’m not that tecnical. I just did my research before purchasing.😀

Thanks all! purchased it from thenavman.com today and installed it. I decided to go for the download option as I didn't want to wait for it to turn up LOL and it all working excellently! So happy and it's a big game changer to the system. It feels like it's from the 21st century now :D

This forum is brilliant.

Mine is a 2016. Yes, I have the menu option. From the research, I did 2015 can't get the menu option on the cockpit. You have to use the voice button to access it.(As far as I know but dont take my word for it). Might be worth contacting them for advice.

I tried this today too, but Ben from thenavman.com says I need to change some coding using ODB11 or something (he's told me what's needed) to activate the screen although the update was 'successful'.

I've tried 4 local garages here in North Norfolk and no-one can help. So other than Carplay now working I'm a bit stuck

The sat nav has been installed, maps, POI's etc apparently, but as my car didn't have satnav enabled before he says something like I need to change the code so that it can be displayed on the virtual cockpit...
His message to me:

This will mean nothing to you I expect,

5F → Long Coding → Byte: 03 → Set to EU

5F → Long Coding → Byte: 24 → Bit: 2 → enable

I did the same on mine with OBDEleven Pro from this website:

I already had the tool from my previous car. Useful to have! Took me a few minutes to complete the change and then I had the built-in navigation on the display. I will upload some photos
