The ECP/Carparts for less item isn't for the quattro as it doesn't have the part that fits in the nearside(left) half of the tank and I think it's 3 not 4 bar. As far as I am aware the quattro one is only available from Audi or TPS.

You could take a chance on a second hand one off ebay but when my stepson bought one, it didn't work and it was a right faff for him to get a refund. Also there are 2 types as there is a difference in the fuel sender resistances, think they changed them in 2002. My stepson had to get one from Audi and if iirc, it was about £400.

If your TT is not quattro then the ECP one should fit but again there are 2 types and you will need to quote chassis number.

The car is a 225 quattro and the Euro parts don't have the part. I have spent hours on the net and found little to go on. Part number is 228 233 005 009Z

Further to my last post. I am told that once I eventually get a new fuel feed unit the car may have to go to Audi to be "coded" Does this seem correct anyone?
