New Audi TTS Final edition - Doing the Maths!

Past few months past I have been toying with the ideal of getting another TTS, really like the final edition in Tango Red but around 55k without extras was a step too far. However Drive the deal (DTD) and coast 2 coast cars could do it for around 48.5k. Mulled it over for a bit then decided to go for it a month or so ago then discovered they are nt taking any new orders - I'd missed the boat! However a week or so later I found one in Tango Red on DTD they had in stock at a dealer with every option ticked eg High beam, Park assist, Storage pack, Side Assist etc for 49.5k, so I snapped it up and collect it on 1 Sept. :)

Just before I ordered it doing the maths, wanted to see if the Final edition was overpriced. So worked out the Final Edition std actually costs £4945 more than the Black edition. However by the time you add the Final edition addons Metallic paint(£575), Alloy Upgrade(£550), Comfort & Sound (£1495), Red Brake calipers (£345), Interior elements in red/blue (£295), Carbon Inlays (£345) that equates to just a £1350 difference and that excludes alcantrer steering wheel, piped floor mats etc.

So its quite a decent price for what must be the only special edition Im aware of the TTS line, this one Im going to keep for a long time, cant wait till Friday - Happy Days

Thanks me too. They were available with discount from Drivethe Deal etc but only until sometime in July 23. It was just over 8k discount for mine which was pretty good. Funny thing is doing my research I did notice TTS don't hold their value very well, some 22 plate black editions with low mileage are going around the 40k mark, probably because of the big discounts that were available. However as I'm going to keep mine for a very long time it does nt really matter especially as it the final final edition!

Congrats.
Just to say 55k is TTRS territory, second-hand approved, super low mileage by Audi dealer which could be any extra trim loaded with other extras based on the taste of the previous owner. have seen 15k extra sold equal to the base price.
Many people are( foolishly if ask me) tarde to EV's these days, hence selling dirt cheap to dealers.

Yep, very nice. I've still got my last of the Mk 2s which I bought new.

Looks good in Tango Red. My Chronos Grey TTS Final Edition has been stuck at Grimsby port for over 2 weeks, which is a little frustrating. I ordered mine through Drive The Deal back in April, so it's been a long wait already. Like you, I want to keep for as long as I can - probably my last ICE sporty car.

Thanks Paul, I have a MX5 2.0 ND in machine grey and my Focus RS was in magnetic grey so just fancied a brighter change, tho grey is great too obs! Five months is a long time to wait, I assume your using Audi Grimsby, mines at Bury St Edmonds through DTD.
I guess I've been quite lucky really as I only ordered it 3 weeks ago and collect it tomorrow, on the plus side you will have a 73 plate too, I hope to keep this one for several years though especially as its literally the Final edition ever!

Most importantly, where the f*ck are the pictures of it, thought you were getting it at the weekend. Post them and then we can all stop taking the mick, or just being rude, and admire your new toy in whichever way we each choose to enjoy them.
