panel filter...advice needed please

I've bought a Pipercross panel filter but there are no instructions how to install it :?

Could somebody confirm for me please, when you take the Air box lid off, should the pipercross writing be up towards the sky or facing down towards the floor.

Don't want to end up putting it in the wrong way.

I don't have one personally, but I'd imagine they are of similar construction to the OEM being a direct replacement.

The OEM one has a rubber seal around the top edge. If there is a similar border on one side of it, this should go on top.
