Kell, if you go for a wireless modem/router and install a wireless NIC in the desktop, you won't have to run a phone cable from your bedroom to your pc anymore...

Can't see it now - run around the edge of the carpet. Very neat install.

Erm - it's an external modem (sagem) that goes into the PC through a firewire port. Then there is some 'special' cabling (can't remember what it was called now) that goes from that to the socket. We also had to put splitters on the other phone sockets (including the one Sky is hooked up to).
