Hi all.. so this is a subject with a lot of varied opinions! Eyebrows/headlight covers or surrounds to change the shape of the headlights. I feel one of the few things that looks dated on the TT is the headlights and I often wonder if it's the shape. I've recently come in to ownership of a 3D printer (which should arrive today) and wondered about making some eyebrows to see how it goes - and also wanted your guys opinions (good or bad!) on it all.

All the ones I've seen are too shaped or not shaped enough for my liking, I didn't want a straight line across so these were two ideas I came up with (different shape on each side) -

What's good/bad about them please?

Anyone have any particular ideas they think would work?

I did something a bit different to create an angry eye look ....

Cut and shaped a semi circle and stuck them inside to cut the light and cut across the top of the halo ring.
Also added red for a devil eye look ( red only when unlocking not for driving)

The reds are red rings facing inward on the back of the white rings, they are linked to the interior lights and trigger the white rings to 50% intensity, so when the interior light turns off, the reds are off and the White rings brighten up for normal driving.

Thanks for feedback guys! The left is my favourite idea so far, so maybe I'll start drawing up some shapes later on (if I can remember how to use any cad software..).

I really like that Wak - small details like that really make a car! (On a side note I've just purchased new wheels/tyres and will now grip the road, meaning a visit for a map is getting nearer!)

Each to their own, but I think eyebrows just look pure chav

But I will add i like the roof spoilers and I know many don't, just different tastes which is a good thing
I think if I can get it so it looks like it was meant to be it shouldn't look too chav. Roof spoilers don't work for me... they stop the roof folding down!
