First post , hope it's ok to ask a few questions regarding the mk2 . I'm after a second car for myself and after owning a mk1 225 , feel like the mk2 is a nice step up .
I'm after a quattro tfsi model , how do you know if the tt has the quattro as I hear some are fwd .
I have a budget that may not get me an tts, I have 10k .
Big questions is , is the normal Tt that much different . I plan to do a few performance modifications such as remap , exhaust , slightly lower. And can easily sort a bigger brake kit out . Bar that is the tts going to be that much different for the extra money they are ? Or do the above mods make the cars similar.
Does the tts have the same engine as a mk6 golf r and the tt the same as the golf gti?
