New TT RS engine from autumn 2010, CEPA vs CEPA V2, what have been changed exactly.

Every TT RS owner should know the TT RS engine has been changed, autumn 2010.
The testmules with CEPA V2 engine showed better acceleration and consumption figures.

But what details has been really changed.

First, consumption changes.

CEPA, 6-speed (from spring 2009 up to autumn 2010)
Combined fuel consumption: 9,2 l
Combined CO2-Emissions: 214 g/km (EU5)

CEPA V2, 6-speed (from autumn 2010)
Combined fuel consumption: 9,0 l
Combined CO2-Emissions: 209 g/km (EU5)

The engine got installed from 23.08.2010 with some extra weeks before first cars got out the factory with them.

The following components got changed part numbers:

- Crankcase
- Injector piston cooling
- Cylinder-head
- Crank-shaft
- Pistons
- Oil-pump + Regulating valve
- Dipstick
- fuel rail + injectors
- Exhaust temperature sensor in turbo

A hole lot of part numbers has been changed
But what has technical been changed and why so many. ?
