TTS cosmetic/performance recommendations?

Forget the tints, can't do any % on windshield or front windows so pointless on a TT. If you have the puddle lights under the doors there should also be a marker light in the side of the door and footwell lights, if not then your puddle lights are aftermarket. Most add on ones are woeful but there are some oem Audi ones that will project even in daylight, think there are rings, Audi Sport or the S logo. They are more expensive than the normal aftermarket hobbies but well worth it.

Honeycomb grill is a good shout but again some cheaper options can look a bit naff, not really much else you can do without going full max power mode which is questionable.

Most important on a car like this is to check all your maintenance is up to date, especially with a stage 2. Check the cam follower has been done, its not part of normal servicing according to Audi but its £40 part that could save your engine from imploding, definitely needs doing if you're not absolutely certain it has been. 10 minute diy job. Check all the other usual suspects, haldex and dsg services (if fitted), fuel filter, pollen filter (another easy diy) and of course regular oil and filters, I do mine every 6K and it costs me around £45
 
Yeah I’ve actually got the honeycomb grill already haha, I’ve also recently just bought the insert for the central panel to replace the phone holder with the rubber insert as I saw in another thread and installed that yesterday
looking into cruise control currently but I think I’m best off looking into smaller things, such as checking my boot and door lights etc as I believe some of them may need a replacement, as well as the glovebox cd player has gone but this is also now my access point for the usb charger connected to the head unit





yeah I did a thorough check prior, luckily the car came with full history and has had the cams done, chain check, full service with filters, it does definitely need a new brake pad because they stated it had been done but I’ve got a lovely irritating squeak on my offside front which is seeming temperamental, but I’m positive it’s nothing grease related and 99% a new pad but that’s an easy fix.

I’ve looked across my whole exhaust line and air intakes etc and they all seem sturdy with no wear too luckily, think the only peeve I’ve got regarding that is at 70+ it can obviously have a bit extra noise if going up a gradient but I didn’t exactly buy a tts to be quiet 😂
Front brakes are easy, rears are a little more troublesome. Definitely look into the cam follower
