Hey guys n gals I’ve got my eye an a 2017 TTS manual and I was wondering what people thought about the car. How does it compare with the S3 etc?

I think the TTS is the sweet spot in Audi's TT range. You get the same engine as the Golf R, so that's 300+ hp on offer plus the security of Quattro. Standard spec is pretty good, the cabin is lovely; it's really lifted by the seats and the virtual cockpit. Reliability is very good and in terms of performance per £ the TTS is hard to beat, in my opinion. Of course, the TT RS is a step up but you're looking at £10k plus to upgrade to one of those.

The performance figures seem about the same as the S3. Obviously you sacrifice interior cabin and luggage space for styling with the TT.
Agree with Counter Of Beans that the TTS is best bang for buck in the TT range.

Having owned a couple of mk3 TTS it is definitely the best bang for your buck, very decent spec as standard and may have been further specced so some very nice examples out there 👍
