2014 Japanese Import with a Clarion SatNav - CanBus Connections...?

I have a 2014 Mk2 that came from Japan with a Clarion satnav, which was apparently a dealer option in Japan. Unfortunately the car does not have the standard quadlock connectors and the Clarion did not appear to be using the can bus and did not display radio info etc. in the MF display. It appears to have a separate module for steering wheel control. I have found a previous forum post from someone with a similar problem so I am confident that I can identify input and power wiring OK.
However, despite hunting around at the back of the dash where the radio came out I cannot find anything that looks like can bus wiring. I assume I should be looking for a twisted pair of cables orange/purple and orange/brown...but no luck.
Does anyone know where i could fairly easily hook into the infotainment canbus?

Thanks, it is not that one. It is the equivalent of a Clarion NX-712. I have been able to download the install manual for that and translate enough Japanese to figure pinouts...and it is not using can bus. If I can't locate the can bus connections it is not the end of the world, but I have a decoder with my new android head unit so I might as well use it for the MF display if nothing else. Thanks for the link to the info.

Yes, I understand that VW/Audi build exactly for the options in that particular car...so I think you are right that they won't be in the dash. The only real advantage with using can bus on this car is to get the radio etc. info on the MF display. Obviously if the Clarion was feeding the amp in the rear it was not switching on via can bus, so I will probably forget about can bus and just wire the replacement HU much the same way as the Clarion. I have a Chinese Android HU designed for the Mk2 that comes with a can bus adapter, but I don't have to use the can bus. I think I have enough info now to sort it. I may end up replacing the amp in the rear with a decent 2 channel amp as I only need to drive the front door speakers (which I am also upgrading).

A bit more poking around and I found the Clarion Can Bus adaptor so I have the can bus connections now. I will have a go at putting the new head unit in over the weekend and let you know how it goes. BTW does anyone know the RMS output per channel for the standard amp in the rear - non Bose? I may replace it if wothwhile.

Hi,
I wired in the canbus adapter that came with the Mekede android unit-for Audi TT and it worked perfectly (steering wheel controls/dash info etc.). My unit is out at the moment but I will try and get a photo of the wiring for you over the weekend.
