3.2 - strong coolant smell after a ride, no leaks

I've developed a strong smell of coolant when parking the car after a drive. Not noticeable during the drive. I've checked top and bottom and no signs of leaks. The overflow reservoir shows normal coolant level. No warning lights or codes. Comes up to temperature as expected and doesn't go over. Seems to drive just fine... just smells after o_O

On some of my older cars something like this would be fixed by replacing the radiator cap as it would fail and not hold pressure. Not sure where to look on this one. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the floor mats and under the dash. A heater core leak might put it there versus the ground. Run the defrost and see if any residue shows up on the windshield. A tiny leak might give you some odor without enough loss to be obvious at first.
