Has anyone come across a member or setup where a dry sump oil system was fitted to a MK2 Audi TT or an EA888.2 motor?

Lot's of benefits going that route for built motors, but I'm having a difficult time locating anything on the net thus far when it comes to my motor.

Thanks for the follow.

APR had released an "Oil Protection System" back in the early 10s, however they pulled it from market after a few years, I'm not sure why.

However it wasn't really an APR product--well perhaps the kitting of it, the lines/fittings, bracket etc. was but the main part of it was actually a Canton Accusump--a pressurised oil accumulator. which prevents oil starvation on high lateral loads, which the EA888 1/2 is known for.

The product pages for the APR product still exist so you can see what it is and does; you could likely put together something similar with an Accusump unit and the other req'd parts some of which may need to be custom fab'd.

That's the only thing I've ever seen for these engines, but not like I ever looked very hard.

Accumsump is something different, I'm not a fan, I seen them make huge messes as well.

IAbed makes a kit but they are expensive and require a ton of modifications to install them. I wouldn't recommend it unless it's a no budget, race car only type deal.

Thanks for the comment.

Here’s the link to the product you were referring to for those reading along.

Thanks for the reply. I was curious about IAbed because he sells an adapter pulley for the fluidamp crank pulley, but I haven't seen any actual drysump parts. I would imagine since the motor is transverse, the pan and the vacuum would be mounted forward just under the WP and IM.

After spending thousands of dollars on the BAR-TEK setup, a bit of extra cash for a drysump system kind of makes sense. Any links would be greatly appreciated.
