why?

- I saw a red one in Dorking on Monday and mistook it for the cheap look-a-like fibreglass kit car - complete with really cheap looking expanded metal grills. The whole effect was very much DIY.

Sorry guys - each to his own, but ruin such a great car. - OK start firing . . .

 

Looks quite good to me My only dislike is the rear spoiler.. looks too much like a big handle. I would save that for sticking on a kettle. The rest looks great.

Can I ask how much the whole makeover plus spraying cost?

The grill was actually pretty easy to put in and I even managed to remove the OEM without breaking any of the tabs. I do like the spoiler but only the ones where the lower edges have been painted black.

Have ordered my Caractere grill and was just about to order the Caractere front bumper when I saw this baby at the tuners shop webpage :

Made me change my mind , just think it depends on each one´s likes

i've brought a Caractere front grille but havent got round to fitting it yet :-/

Is it any easy job and do you have to remove the front bumper to remove the original grille and fit the new one?

Any tips would be appreciated

I was really interested in the Deitrich GT2 Style Front Bumper http://www.dietrich-tuning.de/frameset.php?shopid=103201579685453&show=auditt&subpage=auditt but they don't have one with the cut-outs for the washer-jets.

No worries E. Drop me an email @ stevecherry2000@hotmail.com and we can go through some bits / tips etc. Yes front end removal is needed but it's not that bad (got it down to 30mins now) :

Thanks, it's about to get even better, mods leading up to TT-West (2nd annual gathering on West Coast) The plate is wicked, $40 a year for as long as I want it as oppose to $$$$, £££££s due to it's saying.

Even though I´ll have to wait for that bumper because I´m doing some other mods by the moment...if mounted I will post up some pics
