I decided to finally try and sort out the camshaft sensor problems I've been having since I pretty much got the car. In the time I've had it I think I've had almost every sensor error you can get with the camshaft. I've replaced it twice - once with a cheap ECP part which was shocking and then with a Bosch part.
I've had implausible signals, correlation issues (with the G40) and a couple of other ones as well. I'm wondering if the Bosch part is not working properly? My Audi dealership will sell me a new G28, but it's about £130. I'd happily pay it if I knew it would work. I did wonder if there was anyone who lived near me (St Neots, Cambs) who either had a spare or might lend me theirs to see if it clears the code (and then I'll not feel so bad buying one).
Any thoughts/input would be greatly appreciated
