hello all you BT enthusiasts! I need your help.

I currently have gtx2860r .86 BT external gate setup and i am thinking swapping to GTX2867 .86 setup. I am not using a stroker bottom end and running a switching / anti lag unicorn map. It is a little unresponsive compared to .64 exhaust housing BT setups but it is brilliant for every day driving as most of the time it is off boost.

I am thinking of swapping to gtx2867 but concerned it will become laggy but then again they use the same turbines and its only compressor thats different so turbo response should stay the same? help and thoughts appreciated.

cheers
will

im not a big poster but heres a pic of engine build for those who dont know this car.

Quick question.

What exhaust manifold are you using?

I was going to say that looks like a Backdraft kit but they didn't do an external gate, makes sense if it's been modified though.

I can't see there being a whole lot of difference if any in response, just do the necessary calculations to make sure that surge isn't going to be an issue.

What are your main reasons for changing?

It looks so different to this from backdraft?

Am I missing something?

I'm looking at their manifolds but to me This pic looks like it's all mounted the wrong way round.

Surely the down pipe would be too close to the belt?

Why would you want one of those anyway Callum?
Well I need a high flow manifold that fits my garret turbo.

If there is a better alternative feel free to point me in the right direction buddy

I like that. Is this what you are running?

Any issues with temps? Did you get yours thermal coated before fitting?

That's exactly my point......that won't fit your Garrett turbo - check what turbine flange you are running. I can almost guarantee it won't be T25 sized....probably T3 at least.
It is a T3. Will the one Matt linked fit?
