Looks like it does the same job as Copaslip which is a high temp anti seize compound at about £4 a tube and good for 1100 deg C

That sounds more appealing than £30 for the other stuff. Copaslip it is!

 

I would also grease the gasket, the grease will burn away, but copper content will deposit creating a natural good seal.
