Hi

I have discovered 2 small dents on one side skirt (probably children playing football in the street).

What is the best and cheapest option to remove them?

Thanks

If the dents are very minor then theres a possibilty they can be removed however, the panel will have to come off the car to do so as the actual sill sits very close behind it. Paintless dent repair companies cannot get their tools behind it. Another thing is that the side skirt is made of very thin aluminium so the metal usually stretches (has both times in my case) the result is that the paint bruises and will need a respray anyway.

IMO if youve got to take it off you may as well replace it with a new one - or a second hand one in mint condition. Give www.audittspares.co.uk a go. If youre after a silver one Im afraid you will have to get in line as Ive been que'd up here for the last 2 weeks  The alternative is to get one in any colour and get it resprayed.

If you fancy having a go at removing it yourself (its pretty straight forward) PM me youre email and Ill send a "how to" in word format with photos.

Good luck, Joss.

Had the same issue on mine.

Tried a dent removal company but as stated earlier in the thread , because they cant get their tool behind the sill without removing it they didnt want to know.

In the end I took it to a bodyshop for it to be filled and re-sprayed.

Expect little change from £200
