Krust and rust on exhaust

Hey guys ive just manged to get myself a twin exhaust from Awesome gti for my 180 tt, Ive also got a brand new V6 valance from Awesome too...

Anyway the exhaust is in good condition but is abit rusty, Now i was going to give it a good coating of Hammerites Krust before i get it fitted will this be ok on a hot/running exhaust

Also i need the connector part to fit it to my 180 model but cant seem to find one ? Can anyone help ?

can assume it isnt stainless then? if it is that rusty that is a bit worrying tbh.....hope you pointed this out to john for his opinion on it? what warranty did they give?

I would not bother with the rust exhausts rust more from the inside out over Any good exhaust center should make you a connector

Sounds like it is a standard OEM 225 exhaust

cheapy then..........why buy that and not a decent catbak?

It's only a eBay jobby from a 2002 tt it's was only £50 posted but they said its got loads of life left I can't afford £500 plus for a miltex one yet ?

If you try and coat it with anything it'll just end up being worse. All i would do is get some metal polish and bring those tail pipes up as best you can 8)
