Has anyone fitted one of the ebay engine and slam panel dress up kits? Ive fitted the slam panel and battery cover screws and have the engine plastic cover and coolant screw to fit. Getting rid of the two piece plastic screws that don't look that great.

Has anyone fitted a set of engine bay dress up screw kits for their slam panel/battery/coolant and engine plastic covers?

Looks nice. Kevin.

I do. The kit I got had enough to do all the plastics covers with a few spares. A nice cheap and easy mod that looks great. I've even seen coloured versions of the washer / bolt, nice if you are matching hoses or other items.
I'd post a photo except the plastic covers aren't currently on the car.

Yep, fitted a kit when I replaced my front bumper after an unfortunate badger incident.
However I have a set of these for the battery cover.
Perhaps not as pretty, but much easier to access if you need a top-up charge.

All above kits looks nice. Very cheap dress up to make the engine bay look much better and practical too. I finished off my dress up kit today and if I were buying a car, I think I would consider that the seller was an enthusiast seeing the panel bolts being in steel instead of the plastic tabs. I saw a TT engine oil filler cap once, that would look nice probably but maybe best to leave as standard filler cap. Kevin

Many use 911 coolant and oil caps - I have both in that pic. Some also use R8 caps but they need adjusting/modifying
