Hello fellow Audi TT members. Below is a pre-build post for upcoming project.

Have had my 02 TT ALMS edition for a few years now. Decided I needed a few more ponies.

I initially was going to just go with the 42DD down pipe, an exhaust, rebuild turbo and call it a day. After doing weeks of research I decided to go with Relentless performance.

I decided to go all out and replace everything. Why rebuild and deal with the headache!

I had been in touch with "Tom" at Relentless performance/ xxspower / ssautochrome.com who was EXTREMELY polite and got back to ALL my questions very fast. After being in cahoots with Tom I was able to make my purchases and shipping was super fast!

~v3 manifold
~KO4-023 hybrid stage 3 turbo
~3" downpipe with high flow cat

I was very impressed with the quality of all the products. Great tig welds with no missed spots. The kit came with all the necessary copper gaskets however the kO4 gasket didn't seen to line up but Tom was very helpful at getting the issue resolved.

I sent the manifold in to a local shop to be ceramic coated which is delaying my installation. With no more heat shield I'd like to keep it as cool as possible. This is when I decided to thermal wrap the upper half of the downpipe the CORRECT way soaking the wrap in water.

I received a follow up email from Tom at ssautochrome as to how things were going. I told him I was waiting for ceramic coating and an oil catch can. 1 week later I received a brand new oil catch can ON THE HOUSE!

I honestly can't stress enough how great of a company ssautochrome.com is. Great product, fast shipping, great customer service.

I will be posting pictures of the install once I get everything together. I am a little hesitant on the reliability of a "off brand" turbo but for $500 I can't complain. Tiny bit of shaft play left to right but that's normal. In and out had no play.

5/30/13- mounted the oil catch can. Was able to mount it to the stock air box bracket with washers and extended bolt from Home Depot.

Hey guy's.
Thanks for your input. Does anyone have any more experience with the relentless Turbo? I'm going to give her a try. I don't plan on boosting over 18psi. And the guys at xspower/ssautochrome have been in constant communication and said if I were to run into ANY issue's with turbo they would offer warranty.
The manifold seems to be solid and get good review's & chart #'s so I'm not to worried about that.
