Question about OEM rims that fit the MK1 TT

I'm wanting to get a second set of rims for winter, I don't want to just get some ugly steel wheels. I'm a big fan of using OEM rims as they are often well made, and sell used for reasonable prices. My question is, what other OEM rims fit the MK1 TT? And I'm not just looking at VAG rims, also wondering about other manufacturers, like Subaru uses our 5x100 bolt pattern, but the offset is usually a lot more I think? And some BMW's use 5x100 I believe?

And of course if you have any pictures, throw them up too!

Thanks

You can get cheap sets of rims brand new from places like tyreleader.

Ronal make a lot of VAG OE wheels.
Tyre leader are really good for tyres as well, I get most of mine from there.
As regards other manufacturers wheels as you say Subaru are 5x100 but the centre hub diameter is too small at 56.1mm and the offset is wrong so you would need spacers.
I use Nokian tyres, very good reviews and reasonable prices.

Looking at wheel-size.com it seems that Audi still use the 5x100 format on the A1 and they come in 16 inch size too. Standard tyre size for the Mk1 was 205/55/16 on a 16 inch rim with a ET32 offset and the A1 Sport comes in at 215/45/16 with an ET34 offset so near enough I think although a set of spacers will deffo improve matters I think.

Just ordered a set of 10 spokes so I'll post up pics when they arrive.

I still think a clean set of Fat 5's or comps or even 7 spokes look great on a Mk1. IMHO I think 18's are too big on a Mk1 unless you drop the car too.

Ive allways liked the look of the anniversary edition 350z wheels also known as touring 2 and fitted to z's after 2005.
"Gawd will he ever shut up about 350z"
They are oem wheels
I think they would suit the TT.

Its this type.
Not the "Rays" or the cruddy 6 spokers.
Offset is similar to original tt and folks fit 20 and 15mm spacers on those.

The thing is I have 20mm pcd adapters on for my present summer wheels and lo they are the same pcd as the 350z.
Spigot adapters are cheap.
The adapter bolt size is also the same pitch/diameter as the 350z wheels
The pcd adapters also double up as spacers for the original TT alloys (with longer bolts)
I have 2 sets of wheels already..maybe these could be the "autumn set "
My original TT alloys have a small crack ,but seem to be sound..could be any old excuse.

Aside from checking ebay/gumtree n so on(youll notice theres plenty of the crappier looking 350z wheels on there) anyone know of european/UK suppliers refurbishers of nissan alloys?
