Was there one at your local dealership?

There was an advert in the local rag announcing the launch but I drove past Aylesbury Audi twice yesterday and could see no sign of it :? I thought there would be a bit of noise about it but they did nothing as far as I could see :?

Spoke to my freindly Salesman there on Saturday and they said they didn't even know if they would be registering their one this month. Struck me as a bit lazy - or are they just assuming it will sell itself after the success of the coupe?

I got an invite by Audi West London. Maybe it depends on if the dealer has slots left and is looking to fill his books?

I popped into Aylesbury Audi Friday lunch time and they showed me a MK2 black roadster out in their back compound.

Was just passing and thought i'd pop in to see what it looked like, not too keen on it myself.

That's the thing Ian - I knew it was there as I was taken to see it too....but no "official" launch in the showroom. It's still not on display today

I reckon Tosh is right - Probably don't have to worry about wasting money on a flashy launch if their allocation is already spoken for.

I actually really like it. Big improvement in looks on the MK1 roadster, but then I was never the biggest fan anyway. (Opposite to my feelings on the coupe  )

Northampton Audi had 2, a red one with black leather and dolphin grey with mineral grey I think. I think they look fantastic, soooo much nicer than the original, so much so I may get one. Oxford have a dolphin grey and I phoned Aylesbury who are going to phone me once their's is prepped. I want to see as I think it has Luxor interior (I presume this is the colour as the salesman told me it was aniseed which was only on the Mk1!!!). I love Luxor so really want to see in real life....
Coventry Audi didn't appear to have one.

I had a spin in a black one with cream leather on saturday. Was on trade plates and registering it this week as the demo. Very nice looking female also interested in it as well  when i brought mine round i think she preferred the MK1 :D or me

Anyway, mines back in the dealers today! In the last 30 days i have been in a loaner for 10 of them and 5 the previous month. :(

Put the old against the new and the new needs some serious modding. Wheels, too small, tyre profile to big and ride height, well Gordon brown will be laughing.

Nice touches, esp the tonneau cover/roof as it folds much better. The rest just a TT, same cheap plastic, same cheap seats and same high price.

I wont one.
