Nick how do you know if oem or rep? As I've just had a set refurbed and need to know wheel bolt fitment

Most reps don't have an Audi p/n.

 

Take a wheel off, flip it over and look on the back of the spokes for an audi 4 rings stamp and a part number.

Tapered bolt holes are the usual give away!

 

Hi, top bolt radius, bottom bolt tapered. Compare the seats in wheel. Quite a difference.

hi guys i actually have the 18in VW GTI monza alloys is it the same way to check them? as the guy who refurbed them told me 2 are VW OEM and 2 are reps?

 

take a wheel bolt out of the wheel, and look at the wheel seat, easy, you cant get it wrong,
