i’ve been struggling with my pride and joy she’s a 180 tt mk1 2004 and have started to give up hope, i was casually driving along and then i parked up, came back to the car but it wasn’t starting i thought i must have left something on and the battery went flat i got a mate to come down and try jump it but it still wouldn’t start so i towed it back the unit to have a look over it, all fuses were okay i was getting spark and fuel and then the next day i tried cranking it no spark or fuel, i have another tt exactly the same for parts i tried changing over the ecu since they are the same but still no luck even after trying to do immobilise the new ecu, i ended up switching over the camshaft and crankshaft sensor since the revs weren’t picking up on the dash still no difference no spark no fuel or revs on the dash the part numbers are exactly the same on the sensors, i’m a bit clueless on what to try next i thought id ask first before trying over things if any one has any ideas that would be much appreciated.

I don't get it , why did you cahnge ECU for not starting ? even there's no sparks or fuel but why changed ECU ?
