true, but not on the Vorsprung edition j77drs was referring to (and neither in other editions), so apart those 999 units, OLED's are virtually exclusive of RS

The “TT 20 years” special edition, which was exclusively available as a 45 TFSI quattro also had them

We need a Who's who of Audi TT's models and history😄, so in years to come people will look back and see what a great model it truly was ! This is my 5th TT now got a X reg TT225 in 2000, then a TT225 S line, then a TT Quattro Sport 240, jumped the mk2's, then a Turbo Blue TTS, now final edition, so a fitting last hurrah to a fab car.

But Vorsprung while being the top of the standard range for the TTS was not a limited edition model, and without being biased :ROFLMAO: , have been around for years and sold hundreds, the final edition TTS (50 TFSI Quattro) was only available for a few months with limited colours and exclusive coloured trim and suspect there are less than 50 or so in TTS guise, though I must admit that one at Norwich at 57k is a mad price😆

Pistonhead Final edition details
Agree but the price tag put people off so there are not as many around, this final edition isn’t as limited as you may think, it’s a clever marketing idea from Audi to finish the range and has limited options, just my opinion though 😀

To be honest I've seen less than a dozen TTS Final editions since spring come on the market, well Autotrader anyway. Just looked now and theres 3 Final editions for sale out of 100+ TTS's.

Yes of course its a marketing idea, are nt all special editions really !!. The std TTS is a great TT and at the end of the day the Final Edition is just a well specced TTS over the black edition and mine luckily comes with every option ticked, Side assist, luggage, Speed warning camera, Park assist and high beam assist too all for less than 50k, thats all I wanted so I'm well happy.

Yep theres the RS, but already done the extra fast car and I'm going to be using this for a daily car for which I think it will be ideal :)

Interesting way of judging the numbers out there. Vast majority will have been personal factory orders on PCP which means they're not going to be hitting the market for 3-4 years, the few you see advertised will almost certainly be cars bought by dealers on spec and even fewer will be cancelled orders.

Atrader, is the only way Joe Public can judge the numbers on sale that im aware of, not having inside info at sales@Audi:unsure:. there is the website Howmanyleft, but this has a 3 month lag so no good until later this year. I would of thought mine was bought by the dealer on spec, I was lucky to bag one at a cracking discount - 1 day to go :)

Precisely, on sale, not a guide to how many there are. There's millions of cars out there that aren't for sale :)

Yes, I would've thought the same about yours. Enjoy tomorrow (y)

Looks good in Tango Red. My Chronos Grey TTS Final Edition has been stuck at Grimsby port for over 2 weeks, which is a little frustrating. I ordered mine through Drive The Deal back in April, so it's been a long wait already. Like you, I want to keep for as long as I can - probably my last ICE sporty car.

Thanks Paul, I have a MX5 2.0 ND in machine grey and my Focus RS was in magnetic grey so just fancied a brighter change, tho grey is great too obs! Five months is a long time to wait, I assume your using Audi Grimsby, mines at Bury St Edmonds through DTD.
I guess I've been quite lucky really as I only ordered it 3 weeks ago and collect it tomorrow, on the plus side you will have a 73 plate too, I hope to keep this one for several years though especially as its literally the Final edition ever!

I believe the vorsprung would be rarer, they have matrix headlights, oled rear lights, electric seats etc, they truely had all the extras
In reality yes, at the moment they are under 100 and won't go any higher I think.
The best things are the LED matrix which points off high-beam and the magnetic ride.

Not hundreds lol

Unless I'm reading that graph wrong, that shows the stats for each quarter, so eg 2022 q4 86 registered, so if you add up q1,q2, and q3 for 2022 year the total is in excess of three hundred is it not, which was my point ?
but they stopped making the vorsprung ages ago, in years to come, people won’tgo for a final edition as the extras are limited, kind of what they had left to end the range, just my opinion but as long as you enjoy what you have, who cares 😀

It looks like you care :ROFLMAO: They did nt stop making the Vorsprung ages ago, theres plenty of 23 plates on the Audi used car web site for sale. I did see though from Autotrader that go for the same price as the black edition, in similar condition, so dont hold their value. However in my biased IMO the Final edition is a great way to end the car, it has no missing options for me, just the reverse and probably the best interior of any TTS, thats why I chose it specifically.

As Biggles mentioned its based on the Competition Plus pack that was out in Europe a year or two ago, so nothing to do what they had left to end the range as the same options were around in 20/21 just not in the UK. I also like the fact it is the only TTS that has RS alloys/

I can see in years to come them becoming a collectors item especially as they are exclusive and THE only limited edition for the mk3 TTS. Same thing happened to the Ford Focus RS mk3, the "Red edition" which has no other mechanical differences to the RS edition except its colour is red, goes for 10k over the latter one as it was limited numbers and as such became sought after.

Yes, you're reading it wrong :D I f it worked the way you want it to it would've dropped to zero now.

Bear in mind that those stats are always unreliable to check by trim level as they rely on how it was registered, probably plenty out there that are just registered at TTSs or some other misleading name. On the flip side, new TT buyers seem to be noticably tighter on speccing up their cars then a lot of models so maybe that really is all there are.

It isn't a limited edition though, it's just a trim level they did during the run out period. Unless I've missed something they're not badged or numbered as such. Numbers were only limited by the number of orders received before they closed the books.

Agreed, It does n't have to be numbers that make it limited, in this instance it was limited by the order period it was available from roughly March to July 2023, which in turn limits the numbers even though they are not "numbered". Whatever the semantics, it does nt really matter, I have one and was lucky to get it, so will count my blessings 😇
